Purpose: Because this volume did not include a preface, it is impossible to discern the authors' exact objective. The book provides a compilation of concise definitions and diagnostic evaluations of various aspects of male infertility.

Audience: The book was written primarily for reproductive medicine specialists and for urologists. It is also appropriate for gynecologists and endocrinologists in training. The authors are credible since they are principally gynecologists specializing in reproductive endocrinology and in vitro fertilization.
